Barefoot 7's Rugby

Yesterday, a few students from Room 16 were lucky enough to go to the Barefoot 7's, a inter-school rugby tournament at Akina Park. We had a great day and it was a good opportunity for students to test out their skills for the upcoming rugby season.

 

Te Mata Peak Redwoods Trip

On Wednesday, the Manuka Hub had a trip up to Te Mata Peak. Six classes of students made the journey on the bus and once we got there, went for a tramp through the bush to the giant Redwood trees. They are a magnificent sight and a great place to explore, have a picnic and have fun!
